Impa from Age of Calamity, the Sheikah elder and guardian of the Royal Family depicted in her younger warrior form. Drops pieces of the prestigious Royal Guard Set — the elite Hylian Castle soldier armor with the highest base defense rating in the game — alongside Royal Guard weapons. The full set requires multiple scans to assemble but is worth the effort for late-game tanking builds.

How to Use This Amiibo
- Open the ability wheel and select the amiibo rune.
- Place the Impa — Age of Calamity figure (or NFC card) on the NFC reader on your controller.
- Items will spawn in a treasure chest and scattered on the ground nearby.
- The exclusive reward (Royal Guard Set piece (random)) appears in the chest. Common drops appear loose.
- Cooldown: 24 hours (real time) before you can scan again.
Tips & Strategy
The Royal Guard Set has the highest base defense of any armor in TotK but degrades quickly — pair with the armor upgrade path to offset durability loss. Save-scum to target specific set pieces (helm, chest, or legs) since each scan drops one randomly. Royal Guard weapons also have high base damage before fusing.
Save-Scumming for Better Drops
- Save your game before scanning the amiibo.
- Scan the amiibo and check the chest.
- If you did not get the desired exclusive reward, reload your save.
- Scan again. Drops are re-rolled each time you load.
- Repeat until you get the Royal Guard Set piece (random).
