Description

A towering Moblin commander with enormous reach and powerful attacks. Slow but devastating — respect their spear range and use Flurry Rush from side-hops to win.

Weakness

Boss Moblin's primary weakness is Dodge the spear thrust for flurry rush — headshots stagger.

How to Beat Boss Moblin

1. Boss Moblins are the towering commanders of Moblin groups, wielding large spears, clubs, or boulders.
2. Their enormous size and reach make them dangerous in confined spaces.
3. Preparation: Bring strong fused melee weapons and several arrows for stagger shots.
4. Boss Moblins hit hard but are relatively slow, giving you reaction time.
5. Combat Strategy: Boss Moblins primarily attack with a forward spear thrust (long range but telegraphed — side hop to dodge and trigger Flurry Rush), a wide horizontal sweep (backflip to dodge), and an overhead slam with both hands.
6. The spear thrust is the easiest attack to dodge and the best Flurry Rush setup.
7. If the Boss Moblin carries a boulder, it throws it periodically — sprint sideways when you see the throw wind-up.
8. Headshots with arrows stagger Boss Moblins dramatically — they stumble backward and drop their guard for a longer window than regular monsters.
9. Use this for free melee damage.
10. Boss Moblins sometimes pick up knocked-out regular enemies and hurl them at Link as improvised projectiles — watch for this unusual attack.
11. Color Variants: Black Boss Moblins hit hard enough to one-shot poorly armored Link, and Silver Boss Moblins have enormous HP pools.
12. Fight silver variants with fully upgraded armor and attack-boosting food.
13. Positioning tip: Boss Moblins have poor turning speed for their size.
14. Strafe aggressively to their sides and attack flanks to avoid their primary attack arc.
