Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
An oversized Lizalfos chieftain that directs lizard camps near rivers, lakes, and coastal zones. Its tongue is both a taunt and a weak point — arrows to the tongue stagger it for significant free damage. The Boss Lizalfos uses camouflage in water to ambush approaching players, making it more dangerous in its native aquatic terrain. Boss Lizalfos Horn drops are useful early crafting materials for attack-boosting fusion weapons.

How to Beat Boss Lizalfos
A large Lizalfos that commands smaller Lizalfos in water-adjacent camps. When it sticks out its tongue to intimidate, shoot the tongue for a free stun. Combine with a flurry rush into a mounted attack. Their speed is the primary danger — use fused spears for reach. Boss Lizalfos Horn is a solid early Fuse material.
