Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The rarest and most dangerous of the Wizzrobe variants — an electric-affinity caster that channels lightning from storm clouds it generates mid-combat. Unlike Fire and Ice Wizzrobes whose spells require line-of-sight contact, the Electric Wizzrobe's chain lightning arcs across the arena and hits Link regardless of distance. The chain-lightning interacts dangerously with metal weapons and armor, creating a positive feedback loop of shock damage. Its Topaz drops make it a high-priority target for gem farming, and its appearance during natural thunderstorms creates compound hazards for players already avoiding lightning in open areas.
Weakness
Arrow to interrupt its cast mid-animation; non-metal weapons prevent chain-lightning self-damage
How to Beat Electric Wizzrobe
DO NOT hold metal weapons — the chain lightning arcs to metal gear and back to Link. Use a wooden bow with standard arrows to interrupt its casting before the storm spell fully charges. The interruption staggers it briefly for a melee follow-up. If it completes the storm, retreat behind rock cover. Shock Arrows ironically are not recommended — its lightning resistance partially negates them. Use bomb arrows or fire arrows for burst damage.
