Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Bokoblin corrupted by Ganondorf's Gloom energy, making its physical attacks drain Link's maximum hearts rather than just current HP. The Gloom damage turns hearts black and requires Sundelion-based food or reaching the surface to restore them. Found in Gloom-heavy Depths sections and near Gloom Spawn portals. Deal with them at range to avoid the heart-drain attack penalty.

How to Beat Gloom Bokoblin
Standard Bokoblin tactics but their attacks inflict Gloom damage, reducing max hearts. Keep Sunny dishes ready. Sundelion-fused arrows deal bonus damage and remove their Gloom aura temporarily.
