Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The rarest and most powerful Moblin variant, coated in shimmering gold. Found only in the most dangerous late-game locations and during high-level Blood Moon respawns. Its enormous reach with polearm weapons and raw damage output make it one of the most threatening common enemies in TotK. Gold Moblin Horn drops are among the highest-value common enemy materials, rivaling Silver Lynel parts for Fuse damage. Gemstone drops (Ruby, Topaz) supplement the material value.
Weakness
Flurry rush, bomb arrows, strongest fused weapons
How to Beat Gold Moblin
The pinnacle of Moblin evolution with golden skin and enormous HP. Its long reach with spears and clubs makes spacing critical. Dodge sideways to avoid its sweeping attacks and counter with flurry rushes. Gold Moblin Horns are top-tier fusion materials. Use Zonai devices as distractions — attach fans to boards to create decoys.
