Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
The Stone Hinox is an armored giant found exclusively in the Depths, its body encased in thick stone plating that renders most physical attacks useless. Most critically, a stone eyelid protects its vulnerable eye — the standard Hinox weakness. Bomb arrows or high-explosive fused attacks are required to crack the stone eyelid before eye shots can land. Found in open Depths arenas with minimal cover, this Hinox variant represents one of the toughest non-boss encounters in the underground. The rare Diamond drop and Stone Talus Heart make it worth the considerable effort.

How to Beat Stone Hinox (Depths)
A Depths Hinox with stone armor plating including a stone eyelid that deflects standard eye shots. Use Bomb arrows to blast through the stone eyelid, then follow up with rapid eye shots while stunned. Its stone fists deal massive damage and create debris shockwaves. The arena is typically flat Depths terrain with minimal cover.
