Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Stone Talus variant encrusted with luminous ore, glowing softly in cave environments. Far more common in underground cave systems than on the surface, Luminous Stone Talus serve as both combat encounters and mining opportunities. The ore nodule on its back is the weakness — climb up during the recovery phase from a stomp attack, then hit the nodule with your heaviest weapon. The gem drops alone make this encounter highly profitable.

How to Beat Luminous Stone Talus
Same climbing-and-striking strategy as the standard Stone Talus, but the nodule glows brilliantly, making targeting easier in low-light environments. The Luminous Stone Talus staggers more easily with heavy Fused weapons — a Rock Hammer Fuse deals 3× damage to the nodule. Mining its dropped gems after defeat is the primary reward.
