Tajikats Shrine
Tajikats Shrine — Spinning Gears
Location: Necluda, near Kakariko Village Ability Required: Ultrahand Difficulty: Medium — multi-step construction puzzle
Overview
Tajikats Shrine tasks you with building structures using Ultrahand to cross a series of gaps. Each room introduces a new combination challenge — stacking logs, creating long bridges, and assembling chain contraptions. One of the more satisfying "build it" shrines in the early game.
Preparation
- No special equipment needed
- Bring 3+ healing items as a precaution (though there's no combat)
- Fans or rocket shields will NOT help here — pure Ultrahand puzzle
Walkthrough
Room 1 — Stack and Cross
- Look left for two flat wooden boards. Grab one board with Ultrahand and attach it lengthwise to the other board to create a longer plank.
- Lay the extended plank across the first gap as a bridge.
- Walk across to the next platform.
Room 2 — Log Bridge
- Three short logs are scattered around. Pick up one log with Ultrahand and attach a second log end-to-end, forming a longer pole.
- Add the third log to one end to make it long enough to span the wider gap ahead.
- Lay the three-log chain across the gap. Walk across carefully — logs can wobble.
Room 3 — Rotating Gear Lift
- In the final room, you'll see a large circular gear mechanism with a chain and a platform on the far side.
- Use Ultrahand to grab the handle on the gear mechanism and rotate it — spin the gear counterclockwise to lower a platform on the right side and raise a platform on the left.
- Spin until the platform on the far upper ledge descends to your level.
- Step on the platform and reverse-rotate the gear to lift yourself up.
- Step off at the top ledge and proceed to the altar.

Chest Summary
| # | Contents | Location | |---|----------|----------| | 1 | Amber | Room 2 — on a ledge to the right. Attach a single log vertically as a ladder against the wall to climb up and reach it. |
Tips
- Attach before bridging: Always fully extend your bridge by attaching pieces together before laying it across the gap. Trying to attach mid-bridge is awkward and often fails.
- Logs don't need to be perfect: As long as your log bridge reaches both sides, you can walk across even if it's slightly diagonal.
- Gear rotation direction: If the platform isn't moving the right way, reverse your rotation. The gear can go either direction — spin until you see the platform descend toward you.
- Chest in Room 2: Before crossing the log bridge in Room 2, look right — there's a chest on a ledge accessible by attaching a single log vertically as a ladder.
