Beyond their shrines and scenic views, Sky Islands are the primary source of Zonai devices, rare Construct drops, exotic materials, and several items unavailable on the surface. Great Sky Island (Tutorial Zone)

Flux Construct III farming: This boss is the best non-Depths source of Crystallized Charges. Defeat it every Blood Moon: 5 charges × 100 regular charges per conversion = 500 Charges per kill. Takes approximately 3-5 minutes with a good weapon set.

Flux Construct III strategy:

• Its body is composed of floating Zonai blocks — the glowing core block is the weak point
• When it forms a floating platform: Ultrahand the core block out of position to stagger it
• When it forms a cube: Z-target and shoot the core block's face with arrows until it scatters
• When it forms a wall: jump over the rolling charge and attack the trailing core block
• Defeat rewards: Crystallized Charge x3-5, Flux Construct Core (Fuse material)

North Akkala Sky Archipelago

Location: Northeast sky, above Akkala region Access: Akkala Skyview Tower launch, or Sky Island chain-hop from Eldin

The Akkala Sky has the highest density of elite Constructs outside the Depths:

Captain Construct IV fight: The toughest non-boss enemy in Sky Islands. Uses Construct Spear (fast combo), Construct Bow (3-shot burst), and deploys a Zonai barrier shield. Break the barrier with a Bomb Flower arrow or strong melee, then flurry rush during the recovery. Drops a Large Zonai Charge guaranteed.

Eldin Sky Region

Location: Above Death Mountain / Eldin Volcano Access: Eldin Skyview Tower, or thermal updrafts from volcano peaks

2. Fast travel: Thunderhead Isles — defeat Flux Construct III, collect Crystallized Charges
3. Fast travel: North Akkala Sky — defeat Captain Construct IV, collect Topaz
4. Fast travel: Eldin Sky — collect Flame Emitters, mine Ruby deposits
5. Return to surface: Convert all Crystallized Charges at nearest Forge
6. Wait for Blood Moon at a stable (advance time)
7. Repeat

• Dispenser outputs are random within a device category — insert Zonaite and accept variance; you can't force specific outputs
• Flux Construct Cores from Flux Construct kills are powerful Fuse materials: attach to a shield for a bouncing projectile return effect
• Sky Islands never have weather (no rain) — ideal for weapon-management activities since bows always function normally
