About Hudson

Hudson is the self-made founder of Hudson Construction and the visionary who built Tarrey Town from nothing in the post-BotW era. His company has expanded dramatically since then, placing branded signs across all of Hyrule as part of an ambitious advertising campaign. Each sign requires a physics-based Ultrahand puzzle to prop up — his employee Addison is perpetually struggling to hold them. In TotK, Hudson's main personal storyline centers on his daughter Mattison's impending departure for Gerudo Town to study her mother Rhondson's culture. The "Mattison's Independence" quest is one of TotK's most emotionally honest side stories — Hudson's difficulty letting go of his daughter is portrayed with surprising nuance. Hudson also runs building challenges across Hyrule that teach players advanced Ultrahand and Zonai device techniques. He is one of the few characters in the game who projects genuine happiness despite the Upheaval crisis around him.
