Headshot Multiplier Mechanics

Dodge sideways or backflip at the exact moment an enemy swings to trigger a Flurry Rush. The window is about 0.3 seconds — watch for the white flash on the enemy weapon. During the slow-motion phase, mash Y for up to 8 free hits with zero durability cost on your weapon.

Fuse elemental materials to arrows for massive advantage: Ruby creates fire arrows (melt ice, light fires), Sapphire creates ice arrows (freeze enemies solid), and Topaz creates shock arrows (stun anything in water). Fire Fruit and Ice Fruit work identically but are far cheaper to farm.

Press A while holding ZL right as an attack connects to execute a Perfect Parry. This reflects projectiles (including Guardian lasers), staggers melee attackers, and costs zero shield durability. The timing window is tighter than a Flurry Rush — practice on Bokoblins before fighting Lynels.

Weapons flash red when they are about to break. Throw a weapon at its last hit for bonus damage (2x for melee, guaranteed critical for thrown). Fusing materials to weapons adds the material durability on top of the base weapon, effectively doubling lifespan. Rock Hammers are disposable but great for ore.
