When low on ingredients mid-exploration, these single-ingredient dishes provide the best emergency healing per item: (1) Hearty Durian alone — full heart recovery + 4 yellow bonus hearts, the best emergency food in the game. (2) Big Hearty Radish alone — full recovery + 5 yellow hearts, even better but rarer. (3) Hearty Truffle alone — full recovery + 3 yellow hearts, found near forest areas. (4) Endura Carrot alone — full stamina recovery + overflow yellow stamina (not hearts). For non-Hearty: 5 Raw Meat cooks into a Meat Skewer that heals 8 hearts. Never eat raw ingredients — always cook even a single item for double healing.
