Building a Fast Travel Network — Shrine Priority

Link slips on wet surfaces every few grabs. To counter this, climb in short bursts: climb 4-5 steps, then jump upward before the slip triggers. The Froggy Armor set (from Lookout Landing side quest) eliminates rain slipping entirely once you have the full set equipped.

Most Korok puzzles follow predictable patterns: rock circles (place the missing rock), leaf pinwheels (shoot the targets that appear), lone tree stumps (stand on them and race to the target), and reunite-the-friend puzzles (Ultrahand the Korok to its partner). Learn the patterns and you will spot them instantly.

Shrines and Skyview Towers serve as fast travel points. Lightroots in the Depths mirror shrine locations on the surface — activate them for underground fast travel. The Travel Medallion (from DLC-style quest) lets you set a custom fast travel point anywhere. Always activate every shrine you pass, even if you do not solve it immediately.

Sneak up on wild horses (crouch, wear Stealth armor) and press A to mount. Soothe with L repeatedly until calm. Register at any stable for 20 rupees. Horses with solid colors tend to have better stats. Max bond by feeding apples and soothing while riding — full bond lets the horse respond to every command instantly.
