Description

A commanding Bokoblin variant that organizes Depths Bokoblin squads around Abandoned Mine sites and Central Depths fortifications. The Gloom Captain carries a gloom-infused weapon and wears rudimentary gloom-stained armor, giving it both higher offense and slight damage reduction. Its squad-leader role means engaging it always triggers a response from nearby Bokoblins — clearing the squad first is recommended. The Abandoned Mines it guards consistently hold high-value Zonaite deposits and occasional ancient weapon caches.

How to Beat Depths Bokoblin Gloom Captain

Commands a squad of standard Depths Bokoblins and carries a gloom-coated club that reduces max hearts on hit. Eat a Sundelion meal before engaging. Use bomb flowers to scatter its squad and isolate the captain. Once isolated, flurry rush discipline makes it manageable — avoid tanking even one gloom hit.
