Maren's Tip
Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!
Description
A Stone Talus variant whose rocky body crackles with electrical energy, found near Lanayru and thunder-prone regions. Direct contact with metal equipment conducts the electricity into Link. Switching to Rubber Armor or bone-fused weapons before climbing is mandatory for comfortable ore-deposit strikes. The Topaz deposits embedded in its ore weak-point make these among the most valuable Talus variants for gemstone farming.

How to Beat Electric Talus
A Stone Talus whose body conducts electricity — metal armor and weapons cause shock while climbing. Equip Rubber Armor or non-metal gear before climbing to the ore deposit. The ore deposit weak point on top is reached with the same approach as a standard Stone Talus. Topaz drops make these worthwhile targets.
