Every enemy type has a weakness. Fire enemies melt with ice, ice enemies with fire. Gibdos are vulnerable to fire and lightning — stock those arrows!

Description

A Red Moblin variant that carries a wide shield, blocking standard forward strikes. While they have the same HP as basic Moblins, the shield nullifies straightforward sword approaches. Players must adapt with Bomb Flowers, flanking angles, or shield-bypassing heavy weapons. A common teaching enemy that forces positional thinking and creative Fuse usage early in TotK.

How to Beat Red Moblin Shieldman

Carries a large wooden or iron shield that blocks direct frontal attacks entirely. Toss a Bomb Flower with Ultrahand behind them, or circle to their side. Alternatively, use a Fuse hammer-type weapon — the overhead slam bypasses the shield angle.
