Puzzle Korok — What to Expect
Puzzle Koroks involve environmental interactions — arranging rocks into patterns, shooting balloons, completing races, matching shapes, or solving block puzzles. These are the most common Korok type in Tears of the Kingdom.
Tips for Puzzle Koroks
- Look for incomplete patterns — a circle of rocks with one missing, or a row of statues facing different directions.
- Use Ultrahand to move blocks, plates, and balls into obvious slots or matching formations.
- For balloon puzzles, equip a bow and shoot all targets before the timer runs out.
- Race-type puzzles start when you touch a glowing marker — head straight for the destination ring.
Puzzle Solution
Locate the Korok
Inside the Sky Flame Sanctuary, light the four torches in clockwise order starting from the one nearest the entrance. Use Fire Fruit fused to arrows for quick ignition. The sealed chamber door opens once all four are lit simultaneously — they go out after about 15 seconds, so move fast.
Solve the Puzzle
Use fire arrows or fire fruit to light torches quickly
Reward
Collect the Korok Seed. Bring Korok Seeds to Hestu to expand your weapon, shield, and bow inventory slots.
