About Kass's Children

Kass's five children — Kotts, Notts, Cree, Genli, and Kheel — are young Rito who reside in Rito Village. Each child has a distinct personality and role in village life. In Tears of the Kingdom, they are growing up in their father's absence and have taken on small responsibilities around the village. Kheel (the eldest present) manages younger sibling activities, while the others are involved in various village tasks and mini-quests. They provide insight into Rito daily life, reference their father's travels and accordion music fondly, and collectively represent the next generation of Rito Village culture. Talking to all five rewards context lore and occasionally triggers small gift dialogues.

Tips

  • Talk to all five of Kass's children for a complete picture of Rito family and village life in the post-Upheaval world
  • Kheel has the most substantive dialogue — she references Kass's travels and expresses concern about the Hebra cold extending further south
  • The children's dialogue changes after completing the Wind Temple — they are noticeably more hopeful and active post-Colgera defeat
  • Genli and Cree trigger a small shared quest involving gathering food for the village during the worst of the cold snap
