Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Enter Daka Shrine on one of the Great Sky Island starter platforms.
2. This is an early-game puzzle shrine designed to teach vertical traversal using Ultrahand block stacking.
3. The main chamber has a high ledge (approximately 4 meters above the floor) with a glowing door switch on it.
4. The altar room is sealed below the ledge — activating the switch is the only way to open it.
5. Two stone blocks of different heights sit on the chamber floor: a taller rectangular block (roughly 2.5 meters) and a shorter cube-shaped block (roughly 1.5 meters).
6. Step 2: Use Ultrahand to grab the taller block first.
7. Position it against the wall directly below the ledge — flush against the wall so it does not tip when you climb it.
8. The block should be close enough to the ledge that standing on top of it puts the ledge within arm's reach (about 1.5 meters remaining gap).
9. Step 3: Now grab the shorter block with Ultrahand and place it on the floor beside the taller block, creating a two-step staircase.
10. The shorter block serves as the first step, and the taller block as the second step.
11. Ensure both blocks are touching so there is no gap between them.
12. Step 4: Climb the staircase: jump onto the shorter block, then onto the taller block, then jump up to grab the ledge and pull yourself up.
13. On the ledge, you will find the glowing door switch — press A to activate it.
14. The sealed altar room below opens with a mechanical click.
15. Step 5: Before descending to claim your blessing, check the ledge area.
16. A treasure chest sits against the back wall of the ledge containing a Zonai Battery (a consumable that temporarily expands your Zonai energy capacity — extremely valuable for building vehicles in the Sky region).
17. Step 6: Drop down from the ledge to the now-open altar room below and claim your Light of Blessing.
18. Hidden chest: The Zonai Battery on the ledge near the door switch.
19. Ability needed: Ultrahand is the only ability required — used for positioning both blocks.
20. Pro tip: Block stacking is one of TotK's core traversal techniques.
21. Any time you encounter a ledge that seems just out of reach, look for nearby objects to stack as makeshift stairs.
22. Boxes, barrels, stone slabs, and even enemy shields can be stacked to create impromptu staircases throughout Hyrule.
