After completing all four Regional Phenomena temples and collecting the Dragon's Tears memories, Purah and the sages speak of a legendary fifth sage whose power is needed to face Ganondorf. Follow the trail of clues left across Hyrule to discover the identity and location of this final ally.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Speak with Purah

After completing all four temples, return to Lookout Landing and speak with Purah. She has pieced together information suggesting a fifth sage exists, connected to the ancient Zonai.

Follow the Sage Trail

The clues lead through ancient Zonai ruins and sky islands. Visit the Ring Ruins in Kakariko Village and the ruins scattered across the sky for more information.

Descend to the Depths

The trail eventually points downward into the Depths. Navigate to the Spirit Temple hidden deep underground.

Awaken the Fifth Sage

Complete the Spirit Temple challenges to awaken Mineru, the Sage of Spirit — a Zonai who preserved her consciousness to aid the future hero.

Gain the Fifth Sage's Power

Mineru grants you a Zonai construct that she can inhabit, giving you a powerful mech-like companion for the battles ahead.

Dragon's Tears

Twelve geoglyphs are scattered across Hyrule, each containing a tear-shaped pool that reveals a memory of Zelda's time in the ancient past. Visit all twelve geoglyphs to piece together the full story of the Imprisoning War, Rauru's sacrifice, and Zelda's transformation into the Light Dragon.
