Description
A shield carved from a single slab of Zonai crystal — perfectly transparent and hardened to a density exceeding steel. Found in sealed crystal vaults on the Zonai Sky Archipelago, accessible only after activating all Zonai terminals in a given sky cluster. The crystal surface acts as a natural prism: light-based attacks from Gleok Thunder forms and Lynel lightning blasts partially refract around the shield rather than absorbing directly, providing a 20% reduction in lightning damage on block. In sunlight, the shield casts dazzling prismatic patterns that briefly disorient nearby enemies on a successful shield bash — a blinding effect lasting approximately two seconds. Fuse a Rocket for emergency aerial escapes from Sky Island combat zones, or a Diamond to amplify the crystal's natural hardness for maximum combined defense.
