Giant White Stallion
About Giant White Stallion
A large, pure-white horse of royal bearing with an immaculate coat and flowing ivory mane. The Giant White Stallion is noticeably larger than standard wild horses — not as massive as the Giant Horse, but bigger than any normal mount — and carries near-perfect 4/4/4 balanced stats. It is said to be descended from the white horse ridden by the King of Hyrule himself, and its bearing reflects centuries of royal bloodline. The white coat catches light beautifully and makes this horse visible from a distance. With excellent speed, strong pull, and solid stamina, the Giant White Stallion stands as arguably the single best all-around rideable horse in the game for players who want one mount that can do everything. It is the overworld king of mounts.
Where to Find Giant White Stallion
Detailed Location
Found on the grassy hilltops and open plains near the Lake of the Horse God in West Necluda, southeast of the Great Plateau. The most reliable spawn zone is the hills between Highland Stable and the Horse God Bridge, on the southern end of the Horse God Bridge plateau. The horse often appears among a small mixed herd of regular horses, standing noticeably taller and whiter. Best observed in the midday hours (10 AM – 3 PM) on clear weather days. Coordinates: approximately (-0510, -3480, 55). If not present, rest at Highland Stable until morning. The stallion also occasionally grazes near the grassy cliff edges overlooking the Faron coastline slightly further south.
How to Tame Giant White Stallion
1
Approach in full Stealth Set (Kakariko Village armor set) or eat a Sneaky Elixir — stealth food made with Sunset Firefly + any monster part.
2
Come from the north along the plateau edge, keeping low and crouching the entire time.
3
You need approximately 1.5-2 full stamina wheels to soothe the Wild temperament. Have stamina meals ready in your quick menu.
4
Mount with A and immediately begin mashing L. Keep pressing every half-second. The horse bucks hard but not as violently as the Giant Horse.
5
If your stamina dips below half, eat a stamina meal from the quick-use wheel without dismounting.
6
Once soothed, ride directly to Highland Stable (the nearest stable, just to the north) and register for 20 Rupees.

Pure white coat with no markings — the cleanest, most regal-looking horse in the game.
•
Noticeably larger than standard horses but smaller than the Giant Horse — a commanding presence.
•
Excellent balanced 4/4/4 stats — the best single stat profile for all-purpose riding.
•
Said to descend from the Royal Family's horses — a lore-significant mount.
•
Can wear all standard horse gear, saddles, and bridles.
•
Wild temperament means it takes more stamina to tame but responds crisply to steering once bonded.
Tips & Advice
•
With 4/4/4 stats, this is widely considered the best all-around horse in TotK. Tame it as early as possible and use it as your primary mount.
•
Pair with the Knight's Saddle and Bridle (6 Pony Points) for a fitting royal aesthetic — white horse in silver-and-blue armor.
•
Build bond quickly by feeding endura carrots (found near cherry blossom trees and Great Fairy Fountains) after registration.
•
Wild temperament makes steering less precise than gentle-temperament horses at low bond. Prioritize bonding via feeding and patting.
•
Register it at Highland Stable first, then re-board and retrieve at any stable near your current exploration zone.
•
The white coat is highly visible to enemies at night — use extra care when sneaking past camps on horseback.
