Amukots Lightroot (anagram of Stomuka Shrine) anchors a cave network entrance in the central Akkala Depths where the mineral density is among the highest anywhere underground. Opal and Luminous Stone veins intersect at the lightroot's base in a geological formation that suggests two separate mineral deposition events overlapped here — an unusual occurrence that makes this spot instantly recognizable by its blue-white glow from the stone itself. Deeper access through the northern passage yields Diamonds at roughly 1 per 5 minutes of sustained mining, making it one of the most consistent Diamond farming locations in the game. Zonai mining infrastructure throughout the cave is substantial: dormant stone conveyor platforms, deactivated ore-sorting mechanisms, and a functional Zonai crane in the main shaft chamber that can still be activated with a Zonai charge and used to move large ore chunks. A Frox patrols the Diamond-rich northern passage — it is unavoidable for serious mining runs and carries a large Zonaite ore chunk in its body cavity.
