Step-by-Step Walkthrough

Locate the Ancient Columns Site
Travel to the Lanayru region northeast of Zora's Domain. The site is near the East Reservoir Lake area where a cluster of tall Zonai stone columns stands in a dry canyon. A stone tablet nearby reads "When the ancient pillars stand in proper order, a path will open." Examine the columns and note that some are toppled or misaligned.

Gain a High Vantage Point
Use Ascend through a nearby rocky overhang or climb the tallest standing column to get above the site. From elevation, the intended pattern of the columns becomes clear — they should form a straight north-to-south line matching the carved arrow on the stone tablet. You can also see that two columns have fallen and need to be stood back upright.

Rearrange the Columns with Ultrahand
Use Ultrahand to lift the fallen columns and stand them vertically in their socket bases. Each column base has a circular socket in the ground — lower the column straight down into the socket and it will lock in place with a click sound. Reposition any misaligned standing columns by lifting them out of their sockets and reinserting them in the correct positions along the north-south axis.

Activate the Mogawak Shrine
Once all columns are correctly aligned in a straight line, the ground rumbles and the Mogawak Shrine rises from the earth between the columns. Approach and interact with the shrine seal to activate it. The shrine's interior contains a puzzle involving Zonai water-flow mechanics. Complete it for a Light of Blessing.
