Speak With the Zora Physician About the Illness

In Zora's Domain, find the young Zora child who has developed a Gloom-induced illness following the Upheaval. The attending physician explains that the sickness was caused by contact with Gloom seeping up from the Depths below. Standard remedies are ineffective — only Sundelion, a plant that grows in sky-island sunlight, has the purifying properties needed to counteract Gloom poisoning.

Ascend to the Sky Islands Above Lanayru

Travel to the sky islands floating above the Lanayru region. Use Ascend through ceilings, launch from Zora's Domain's waterfalls, or use a Skyview Tower to reach the appropriate sky island cluster. Sundelions grow in the bright elevated areas above the cloud layer where Gloom cannot reach. Look for their distinctive yellow blossoms on rocky sky-island terrain.

Harvest Sundelions and Return to the Physician

Collect the number of Sundelions requested — typically three to five plants. Return to Zora's Domain and deliver the Sundelions to the physician. They prepare the remedy, administer it to the ill child, and the Gloom symptoms fade. The physician rewards Link with a Zora armor piece or a bundle of rupees and Flint.
