Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Reach the Hebra Summit

The Hebra summit peak is the highest point in the Hebra Mountains, accessible from Rospro Pass Skyview Tower. Launch and glide northwest toward Mount Hebra's apex — visible as the tallest snow-capped peak on the horizon. Full Snowquill armor at level 2 cold resistance is mandatory; without it, the temperature at summit altitude inflicts rapid health drain. The summit has a flat launch overhang facing southeast, directly above the frozen lake far below.

2

Spot the Glowing Target Circle in the Ice

Look down from the summit overhang into the valley far below — a frozen lake sits roughly 200 meters down. At the center of the lake, a circular glowing pattern is visible in the ice, roughly five meters in diameter. The circle pulses faintly gold. It is easiest to see in the early morning hours when the sun angle reduces glare. Mark it on your map for reference before jumping.

3

Execute the Dive

Jump from the summit overhang and immediately enter a dive posture (press and hold down on the left stick while in freefall). Do not open the paraglider — you need maximum falling speed to break through the ice. Aim for the center of the glowing circle and maintain the dive angle throughout the descent. The circle is forgiving within about two meters, but drifting too far to one side lands Link on solid unbroken ice instead.

4

Reach the Submerged Shrine

If the dive is accurate, Link crashes through the ice circle into a submerged hollow beneath the lake. The Maka Rah Shrine waits below the waterline in an air-filled chamber accessible through the broken ice hole. Swim down and activate the shrine. Its internal puzzle involves ice and water flow mechanics. Complete it for a Light of Blessing. You can fast-travel out afterward — no need to re-climb the summit.

Pro Tips

3

Cook Hearty meals to gain temporary bonus hearts. Hearty Durians are the most efficient.

4

Consider equipping the Fierce Deity Set or Barbarian Armor for maximum attack power before the hardest encounters.

5

Equip the Snowquill Set or eat Spicy Pepper Steak for Level 2 Cold Resistance in Hebra.
