Travel to the Rito Stable located at the base of the wooden spiral walkways leading up to Rito Village in the Tabantha region. Penn the Rito journalist is standing near the stable counter, notebook in wing, excitedly questioning the stable workers about a reported sighting of Princess Zelda near the blizzard zone north of the village.

Interview the Witnesses

Speak with the three witnesses Penn has identified: the stable owner who saw a figure in the snow, a traveling merchant who heard a woman's voice calling from the storm, and a Rito guard who spotted someone with golden hair near the Hebra trailhead. Compare their testimonies — the details conflict in subtle ways that suggest the sighting may not be genuine.

Investigate the Sighting Location

Head north from Rito Stable toward the blizzard zone where the sighting occurred. Near the rocky outcrop described by the witnesses, discover evidence of a camp: discarded Mighty Bananas, Yiga Clan footprints in the snow, and a torn piece of disguise fabric. The evidence points to a Yiga Clan member impersonating Zelda to sow confusion.
