Quest Overview
A Hateno Village farmer is distraught — three essential farming tools have gone missing from the shed near Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. The farmer suspects monsters knocked them into the nearby river or they blew away in a storm. Search the fields, riverbanks, and cave entrances east of Hateno to locate the lost pitchfork, hoe, and watering can. Returning all three items lets the farmer resume work and provides a fresh batch of cooked vegetable dishes as thanks.

Meet the Distressed Farmer
Near the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab, a farmer named Dantz is pacing anxiously outside his vegetable plot. He explains that a monster raid knocked over his tool shed and scattered three essential tools across the surrounding area — a pitchfork, a hoe, and a watering can. He cannot tend his crops without them and fears losing the harvest.

Find the Three Tools
Search the fields, riverbanks, and cave entrances east of Hateno. The pitchfork is stuck in the bank of the Necluda River, carried downstream by the floodwater from the attack. The hoe is inside the cave on the eastern hill — knocked in by rolling Chuchus. The watering can is up in a tree, lodged in branches — use Ultrahand to retrieve it.

Return Tools to Dantz
Bring all three tools back to the farmer at his plot. He immediately gets to work repairing the irrigation channels and replanting the damaged rows. As thanks, he cooks a full batch of sautéed vegetables and gives Link a basket of fresh produce including some rare Razorshrooms and Swift Carrots for crafting speed-boost meals.
