Learn About the Seven Heroines Legend

In Gerudo Town, speak with a Gerudo scholar named Rotana who has devoted her life to researching the legend of the Seven Heroines — ancient Gerudo warriors who each represented a different virtue and were immortalized in stone statues throughout the Gerudo Highlands. The statues each hold a receptacle for a special orb. Rotana has already located the statues but needs help finding the seven orbs scattered across the desert and highlands.

Collect the Seven Orbs

The orbs are found at various desert and highlands locations: three in the ruins east of Gerudo Town, two in caves along the Gerudo Highlands eastern face, and two more at ancient warrior campsites northeast of the town. Each orb is about the size of a cannonball and glows faintly. Some are guarded by Lizalfos or Stone Taluses — defeat them or use the environment to retrieve the orbs without direct combat.

Place the Orbs in the Correct Statues

Each statue has a carved inscription describing its virtue: Power, Wisdom, Courage, Endurance, Compassion, Knowledge, and Spirit. Match each orb's symbol (visible when examined) to the corresponding virtue statue. Incorrect placements cause no penalty — just pick the orb back up and try another statue. The statues are spread across an elevated terrace in the Gerudo Highlands with a scenic view of the desert below.

Receive the Reward When All Seven Are Placed

When the seventh orb is seated correctly, all statues glow simultaneously and a hidden compartment at the base of the central monument opens. Inside is a Diamond and the Sand Boots upgrade — an armor piece that negates sand-walking speed penalties, making movement through the desert much faster. Rotana arrives to witness the activation and vows to publish her research on the Seven Heroines legend.
