Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Speak with Elder Kaneli About the Parade Plan

Visit Elder Kaneli in his chamber at the top of Rito Village after clearing the Wind Temple. He and the village council want to hold a victory parade for Tulin and Link through the village's spiral walkways. Three things must be arranged: clear the snowdrift blocking the lower parade route, collect three traditional Rito drums from storage, and confirm the route is safe from any remaining cold-weather monsters.

2

Clear the Snowdrift Blockage on the Lower Walkway

A large snowdrift accumulated during the eternal blizzard has compacted into ice blocking the parade route between the second and third walkway rings. Use a Flame Emitter Zonai device or Fire Fruit bomb arrows to melt the blockage. The drift is about four meters across — three Bomb Flower fire blasts or sustained Flame Emitter contact for ten seconds clears it completely.

3

Retrieve the Three Rito Drums from the Storage Nest

The traditional Rito parade drums are stored in a large nest alcove beneath the village's main platform — accessible via a ladder on the western face. The drums are large and require Ultrahand to move. Carry each drum to the parade assembly point at the village entrance, depositing them near Genli who will distribute them to the drummers.

4

Watch the Parade and Collect Your Reward

Return to Kaneli to confirm everything is ready. The parade begins with Tulin and Link walking the spiral route as the village cheers from every platform and balcony. Rito drummers pound the ceremonial rhythm throughout. After the parade, Kali the shopkeeper announces a permanent Snowquill armor discount for Link as the village's hero, and Teba provides a cache of high-quality Rito bows as an additional gift.
