Speak with Mattison and Her Parents in Tarrey Town

Visit Tarrey Town on the island in Lake Akkala. Hudson and Rhondson are visibly anxious — their daughter Mattison has announced she intends to travel to Gerudo Town to learn Gerudo customs from Riju's court. Hudson wants to stop her, but Rhondson quietly asks Link to escort Mattison safely and respect her Gerudo heritage. Mattison is determined and will leave with or without an escort.

Escort Mattison Through the East Akkala Route

Accompany Mattison as she walks the road south from Tarrey Town toward the Akkala Highlands. She chatters cheerfully about Gerudo culture along the way. The route passes through Bokoblin territory near East Akkala Stable — three Bokoblins ambush the road at the bridge crossing. Defeat them before they can reach Mattison, who stops and waits safely behind Link during combat.

Cross the Gerudo Desert Approach

Continue south through Eldin and into Hyrule Field toward the Gerudo Desert gate. Mattison is undeterred by the heat and keeps walking. A Moblin patrol camps on the road near Kara Kara Bazaar — clear them quickly before Mattison reaches the patrol zone. She is not a combat participant and will be captured if monsters engage her directly.

Deliver Mattison to Gerudo Town and Return

Walk Mattison through the Gerudo Town gate where a Gerudo guard greets her warmly and escorts her inside. Mattison thanks Link genuinely and asks him to tell her parents she is safe. Return to Tarrey Town and speak with Hudson, who is tearfully proud once he hears she arrived safely. He rewards Link with a Diamond and declares Tarrey Town's trading post fully open for all services.
