Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Enter Disisan Shrine in the Eldin region and survey the main chamber.
2. The room appears deceptively simple — a single large chamber with a locked altar room visible through a barred window on the upper level and a treasure chest visible inside a sealed side room with no apparent door or entry point.
3. The key to this shrine is recognizing that Ascend can bypass seemingly sealed rooms by phasing through thin floor sections.
4. Step 2: Look at the floor beneath the sealed chest room.
5. A section of lighter-colored stone — slightly paler than the surrounding dark volcanic rock — marks a thin floor panel that Ascend can penetrate.
6. Drop into the recessed pit in the main chamber to position yourself directly below this thin section.
7. The pit is about 3 meters deep with a safe landing.
8. Step 3: Stand in the pit, look up to confirm you are beneath the lighter stone, and activate Ascend.
9. Link phases upward through the thin floor and emerges inside the sealed chest room.
10. Open the treasure chest to receive a Ruby (worth 210 rupees and useful for upgrading Flamebreaker armor at Great Fairy Fountains — essential for surviving Eldin's volcanic heat).
11. Step 4: Exit the chest room via the ladder on the far wall, which leads back to the main chamber's upper walkway.
12. From the walkway, look toward the altar corridor — another barred passage blocks direct access.
13. However, examine the ceiling near the corridor entrance: a second thin ceiling section (same lighter stone texture) is visible above the corridor's midpoint.
14. Step 5: Position yourself directly beneath this second thin section on the walkway.
15. Activate Ascend again — Link phases through the ceiling and emerges in the final room above the altar corridor, directly beside the altar itself.
16. Step 6: Claim your Light of Blessing.
17. Hidden chest: The Ruby in the sealed side room, accessible only by Ascending through the thin floor from the pit below.
18. Ability needed: Ascend is the only ability required — used twice.
19. This shrine specifically teaches players to look for thin floor and ceiling sections (identifiable by their lighter stone color) as shortcuts through seemingly impassable barriers.
20. Pro tip: Throughout Eldin's volcanic caves and ruins, thin rock formations are common.
21. Always check ceilings and floors for the lighter texture — many hidden caves, treasure alcoves, and shortcut passages in the Eldin region are accessible only through Ascend, making this shrine's lesson critical for thorough exploration of Death Mountain and its surroundings.
