Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: This shrine is locked behind the "Yunobo of Goron City" regional main quest.
2. You must complete the entire Fire Temple dungeon and free Yunobo from the influence of the Marbled Rock Roast before this shrine becomes accessible.
3. If you have not completed this quest, the shrine will not appear.
4. Step 2: After clearing the Fire Temple and recruiting Yunobo as a companion, travel to the base of Death Mountain where the lava ring forms a natural boundary.
5. The shrine glows green on a rocky outcrop near the southeastern edge of the lava ring, approximately 200 meters from the Goron City entrance.
6. Step 3: Before approaching, equip the full Flamebreaker Armor set (helmet, chest, greaves).
7. The area around this shrine is an extreme heat zone — without Level 2 Flame Guard, you will catch fire and take continuous damage.
8. Flamebreaker armor is purchasable from the Goron City armor shop.
9. Step 4: Navigate to the shrine entrance.
10. The path is straightforward but passes near active lava flows — stay on the stone walkway and avoid the glowing orange surfaces.
11. Step 5: Enter the shrine and walk directly to the altar for Rauru's Blessing.
12. No puzzle or combat awaits inside — the Fire Temple completion was the trial.
13. Hidden chest: A chest to the right of the altar contains a Ruby (worth 210 rupees).
14. Ability needed: None inside the shrine.
15. The Fire Temple requires all core abilities (Ultrahand, Ascend, Recall, Fuse).
16. Pro tip: With Yunobo as your companion after this quest, his rolling charge ability can break ore deposits and Talus weak points instantly — use him liberally in the Eldin region.
