About This Lightroot

Duoninat is far northeastern Akkala Depths, corresponding to Taninoud Shrine near the Akkala Highlands on the surface. Access is among the most challenging in the Akkala region — the surrounding 200-meter zone is controlled jointly by a Lynel Depths variant patrolling the northern semicircle and heavily Gloom-infused Bokoblin fortifications covering the southern approach. The Bokoblin fort here is one of the most elaborate in the Depths: three tiers of stacked crates and stone platforms, with archers on the upper tier and a Silver Bokoblin Captain at the gate. An underground extension of the Akkala Sea occupies a massive cavern 100 meters east — a dark underground sea with bioluminescent creatures that is one of the most visually striking environments in the Depths. Rare ores (Opal, Amber, Topaz) cluster along the sea cave's eastern wall. Chain navigation: approach from Musanokir Lightroot to the south, hugging the eastern wall to avoid the Lynel's northern patrol range.
