Quest Overview
Travelers at Wetland Stable are reporting a "ghost" on the Lanayru Promenade — a faint glowing figure that appears at dusk and leads travelers off the road toward the wetlands before vanishing. Two travelers got lost following it. Stable keeper Misa is desperate for an explanation. Investigation reveals it's a Blupee with a Luminous Spear fragment lodged in its fur, creating a trailing light effect — the Blupee needs help removing it.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough
1
Hear Misa's Account at Wetland Stable
Misa describes the ghost: it appears near the second mile-marker on the Promenade at dusk, glows faintly blue-white, and moves slowly west off the road toward the Wetlands. Two guests followed it last week, got knee-deep in a marsh, and had to be pulled out by stable hands. Link agrees to watch the Promenade at dusk.
2
Observe the Ghost at Dusk
Wait at the second mile-marker until dusk. The "ghost" appears: a Blupee moving slowly and erratically, trailing a faint blue glow. It moves off the road into the grass and stops, looking back at Link — clearly distressed. The glow comes from its lower back where a Luminous Spear fragment is caught in its fur. The fragment (from a shattered Zora weapon likely dropped during the Upheaval) has a sharp end and a smooth end — it's pinched in but not deeply embedded.
3
Help the Blupee Remove the Fragment
Approach slowly — the Blupee is skittish but doesn't flee. Crouch and move slowly (same approach as sneaking on horses). Once adjacent, use a careful Ultrahand grip on the smooth end of the fragment and pull at a shallow angle. The fragment slides free. The Blupee is visibly relieved — it shakes out its fur, then looks at Link, drops three Rupees (classic Blupee behavior), and bounds away into the Wetlands.
4
Report Back to Misa
Return to Wetland Stable and explain the Blupee and the spear fragment to Misa. She is partly relieved and partly charmed — she'd been imagining something much worse. She takes the Luminous Spear Fragment as a keepsake for the stable's curiosity shelf, gives Link four Opals for solving the mystery, and posts a sign: "The Ghost of Lanayru Promenade was a distressed Blupee. No paranormal activity. All guests are safe."
