Speak with the Construction Foreman

Near the stable being built at Lookout Landing, a harried foreman named Parton explains the Upheaval disrupted their lumber supply and they are still ten bundles of wood short of completing the stable frame and roof. He asks Link to gather wood from the trees around the Central Hyrule fields. Wood bundles drop when you chop trees with any axe-type or heavy weapon.

Gather Wood from Nearby Trees

There are dozens of trees within gliding distance of Lookout Landing — on the hills to the east, along the riverbanks, and in the forested areas to the south. Equip a two-handed weapon like a Woodcutter Axe or any heavy weapon, then swing at the base of trees. Each tree yields one to three bundles of wood depending on its size.

Deliver the Wood Bundles

Use Ultrahand to carry multiple bundles simultaneously by attaching them into a stack, then bring them to the construction site. Place the wood near the foreman and he incorporates it into the building immediately, making visible progress on the stable structure as each bundle is delivered. Ten bundles total completes the lumber quota.

Collect Your Reward

Once all ten bundles are delivered, the foreman signals his workers and the stable frame snaps into place. He rewards Link with a Purple Rupee worth 50 Rupees, plus three Pony Points stamped onto your Stable Association card. The stable opens for full services: horse registration, bed rental, and a merchant selling cooking ingredients.
