Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: A locked door blocks the path forward with no visible key.
2. The key mechanism appears hidden in a sealed side room visible through a barred window — but this is misdirection.
3. The solution is Ascend.
4. Step 2: Near the locked door, a lighter-colored stone floor section indicates a thin panel.
5. Stand on it and activate Ascend — Link phases through into the sealed room behind the locked door.
6. Step 3: Inside, open the chest on the pedestal to receive a Gerudo Scimitar of the Seven (28 attack power, one of the best early Gerudo weapons).
7. Step 4: Look up — another thin stone ceiling section is above the altar corridor.
8. Position yourself beneath it and Ascend again, emerging beside the altar.
9. Step 5: Claim the Light of Blessing.
10. The locked door was a red herring — Ascend bypassed it entirely.
11. Hidden chest: The Gerudo Scimitar is the shrine's chest reward.
12. Do not skip it — a significant upgrade for desert exploration.
13. Ability needed: Ascend is the only ability required.
14. This shrine teaches that Ascend bypasses locked doors wherever thin floors or ceilings exist.
15. Pro tip: Fuse the Gerudo Scimitar with a Ruby to create a fire-element sword — extremely effective against ice enemies in the Gerudo Highlands.
