Maren's Tip
Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!
Walkthrough
- Step 1: Enter Nakuta Shrine in the Sky region and survey the layout.
- The entry platform holds three stone blocks of different sizes — small (approximately 1 meter), medium (approximately 2 meters), and large (approximately 4 meters in length).
- The altar sits on an adjacent platform separated by a gap roughly 3.5 meters wide — too far to jump across even with a running start.
- Step 2: The solution is bridging.
- Use Ultrahand to grab the largest block (4 meters long) and rotate it so its longest axis runs perpendicular to the gap, spanning from one platform edge to the other.
- Lower it carefully to rest on both platform edges simultaneously.
- The block must overlap each edge by at least 30 centimeters on both sides to create a stable bridge — if it is too far to one side, it tips and falls into the void below.
- Step 3: Walk across the large block bridge to the adjacent platform.
- Move at walking speed, not sprinting — the block surface is slightly narrow and a sprint can cause you to veer off the edge.
- Step 4: On the adjacent platform, a second smaller gap (about 1.5 meters wide) separates you from the altar corridor.
- Return to the entry platform via your bridge and grab the medium block with Ultrahand.
- Carry it across the bridge and lay it across this second gap as a micro-bridge.
- The medium block spans this narrower gap with plenty of overlap on both sides.
- Step 5: Before crossing to the altar, collect the treasure chest on the entry platform.
- It sits near the right wall, partially behind the small block, and contains a Zonai Charge (restores one-third of your Zonai battery — useful for the Sky region's many device-heavy challenges).
- Step 6: Cross the micro-bridge and walk to the altar at the end of the connected platform.
- Claim your Light of Blessing.
- Hidden chest: The Zonai Charge near the right wall of the entry platform, partially obscured by the small block.
- Ability needed: Ultrahand is the only ability required.
- This shrine tests basic block rotation and gap-bridging — a foundational Ultrahand skill used in dozens of shrines and overworld puzzles throughout the game.
- Pro tip: The small block (which you did not need for either bridge) can be used as a stepping stone if you want to reach a slightly elevated ledge on the adjacent platform's wall — there is a hidden Korok seed location just above it, visible as a sparkling leaf pattern.
