Kyononis Shrine

Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Kyononis Sky Shrine is a combat trial on a floating sky island platform with no guardrails — the biggest danger here is falling off, not the enemies themselves.
2. Step 1: Upon entering, two Construct Soldiers patrol the open-air platform.
3. The fall on all sides is lethal (no water below).
4. Stay in the center of the platform at all times.
5. Step 2: Lure the first Construct toward the center by shooting an arrow near it.
6. Engage it with melee attacks only when you have at least 3 meters of platform behind you.
7. Use shield parries to avoid being knocked backward toward an edge.
8. Step 3: The second Construct wields a bow and will fire at range.
9. Do not dodge backward (you may step off the edge).
10. Instead, dodge sideways or sprint diagonally toward the archer to close the distance and force melee combat.
11. Step 4: Once both are defeated, collect the dropped Prime Zonai materials (Construct Horns and Springs — valuable for fusing).
12. The altar sits at the south end of the platform.
13. Hidden chest: A chest containing a Soldier's Claymore is on a small outcropping below the main platform's north edge.
14. Carefully drop down to the outcropping (or use Ultrahand on the chest from above) to retrieve it.
15. Pro tip: If you get knocked off, immediately deploy your Paraglider.
16. You may be able to glide back to the platform edge if you have enough stamina.
