Step-by-Step Walkthrough

1

Accept the Mission from Captain Hoz

Speak with Captain Hoz at the Lookout Landing garrison. He briefs Link on three monster camps that have established themselves dangerously close to Lookout Landing, threatening supply routes and refugee caravans. He marks the camp locations on your map: a Bokoblin stockade to the south, a Moblin outpost to the east, and a Lizalfos ambush camp to the northwest.

2

Clear the Bokoblin Stockade

Head south from Lookout Landing to find the Bokoblin camp built around a watchtower constructed from stolen lumber and bones. The camp holds about eight Bokoblins of varying strength including a Blue Bokoblin leader. Use stealth or ranged attacks to thin their numbers before engaging in melee. Destroy the watchtower by removing its support beams with Ultrahand to prevent rebuilding.

3

Defeat the Moblin Outpost

Travel east to the Moblin camp set up among ancient ruins. Three Moblins patrol the perimeter while two more guard a supply cache of stolen weapons and food. Moblins hit hard but are slow — use dodge-and-counter tactics and exploit their long recovery animations after heavy swings. Fused weapons with high attack power are recommended for their substantial health pools.

4

Eliminate the Lizalfos Ambush Camp

The northwest Lizalfos camp is the most dangerous — Lizalfos hide in the tall grass and river banks, using camouflage to ambush travelers. Watch for their eyes glowing in the undergrowth and use arrows to flush them from hiding. The camp leader is an Electric Lizalfos whose shock attacks can disarm Link. Equip rubber armor or insulated weapons to counter the electricity.

5

Report to Captain Hoz

With all three camps destroyed, return to Captain Hoz at Lookout Landing. He congratulates Link and awards the Monster Medal — a decorative badge recognizing Link's service to the settlement — along with 200 Rupees from the garrison fund. The cleared paths make the roads around Lookout Landing permanently safer, with traveling NPCs and merchants now appearing on the routes.
