Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Enter Jonsau Shrine in the Faron region.
2. The theme is Deep Force — exploiting buoyancy physics to create an upward launch.
3. The main chamber features a large pool of deep water with a flat wooden platform floating on the surface.
4. The altar is on a high ledge approximately 8 meters above the water level — far too high to reach by swimming, climbing, or normal jumping.
5. Step 2: The wooden platform is highly buoyant — it naturally floats at the water's surface.
6. The puzzle mechanic: if you force the platform underwater and release it, buoyancy rockets it upward like a cork.
7. Use Ultrahand to grab the floating platform and push it downward into the water.
8. The platform resists increasingly as you push it deeper — water buoyancy fights your Ultrahand grip.
9. Step 3: Hold the platform submerged at maximum depth (about 3 meters below the surface) for at least 5 seconds.
10. This builds maximum stored buoyancy energy.
11. The platform vibrates slightly when fully charged — this visual cue confirms you have held it deep enough and long enough.
12. Step 4: Release Ultrahand.
13. The platform explodes upward through the water surface with tremendous force, launching approximately 10 meters into the air before gravity pulls it back down.
14. This is your elevator.
15. Step 5: Timing is everything.
16. Submerge the platform, wait for the vibration cue, release Ultrahand, and immediately jump into the water directly above the platform.
17. As the platform rockets upward, it catches your body and carries you with it.
18. At the apex of the launch (about 10 meters up), deploy your Paraglider to convert vertical momentum into horizontal glide.
19. Aim for the altar ledge and land on it.
20. Step 6: On the altar ledge, claim the Light of Blessing.
21. If you miss the ledge, you fall safely back into the pool and can retry — the platform floats back to the surface within a few seconds, ready for another launch.
22. Abilities needed: Ultrahand (submerging the platform), Paraglider (converting vertical launch into horizontal glide).
23. Pro tip: You can increase the platform's launch height by attaching two Zonai Springs to its underside before submerging it.
24. The springs compress against the pool floor and add their stored energy to the buoyancy force, launching you even higher — useful if you keep falling short of the ledge.
