Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. The Ability to Rise.
2. This Great Sky Island tutorial shrine teaches Ascend, which lets you pass upward through solid ceilings.
3. Step 1: Approach the green terminal and receive Ascend from Rauru.
4. Step 2: Look up — the ceiling directly above has a distinctly lighter, slightly translucent stone texture.
5. This visual cue marks every Ascend-compatible surface in the game.
6. Stand beneath it, press A to activate Ascend, and Link will rise through the ceiling into the chamber above.
7. Step 3: In the second chamber, look for another thin ceiling section (pale texture again) and Ascend to the third level.
8. The altar is straight ahead.
9. Hidden chest 1: On the second level, before ascending again, check the alcove to the right.
10. A chest contains a Construct Bow — easy to miss if you rush upward.
11. Hidden chest 2: On the third level, instead of going straight to the altar, turn around and check the far corner.
12. A third thin ceiling section leads to a secret upper room with a chest containing a Strong Construct Bow.
13. Ascend through it, grab the chest, then drop back down to the altar.
14. Pro tip: Throughout TotK, Ascend works through any solid ceiling — cave roofs, building floors, even enemy structures.
15. Always look up when you seem stuck.
16. The pale stone texture is your signal, but many natural formations also work.
