Maren's Tip
Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!
Walkthrough
- Step 1: Enter Dujonin Shrine in the Necluda region and observe the arena layout.
- A grassy, rock-strewn combat arena stretches before you with natural stone outcrops providing cover.
- Two Blue Bokoblins spawn on opposite sides of the arena — one on the left wielding a spiked club, one on the right carrying a spear.
- Their starting positions are designed to create a flanking situation if you charge straight in.
- Step 2: Do NOT rush into the center.
- Instead, immediately target the left Bokoblin first (the club wielder is more dangerous at close range).
- Throw a Bomb Flower at its feet from your entry position — the explosion staggers it for approximately 3 seconds and deals moderate damage.
- Sprint toward the staggered Bokoblin and deliver a three-hit melee combo before it recovers.
- Step 3: The right Bokoblin (spear wielder) charges your position while you fight the left one.
- As it approaches with a lunging thrust, sidestep laterally at the last moment to trigger a Flurry Rush — land all five slow-motion counter-hits with your strongest weapon.
- This should eliminate or nearly eliminate the spear Bokoblin.
- Step 4: Once both Blue Bokoblins fall, do not relax.
- A third, weaker Red Bokoblin ambushes from behind a large rock formation near the arena exit.
- It leaps out with a club swing — fire a single arrow at its head to stagger it instantly, then close in with one melee strike to finish the encounter.
- Step 5: With all three Bokoblins defeated, the altar gate at the far end of the arena opens.
- Proceed through and claim your Light of Blessing.
- Hidden chest: Behind the large rock formation where the ambush Bokoblin hid, a chest sits in a small alcove containing an Opal (worth 60 rupees and used for upgrading the Zora Helm at Great Fairy Fountains).
- Easy to miss since the ambush draws your attention away from exploring the area.
- Ability needed: No shrine abilities are required.
- Combat fundamentals — bomb openers, Flurry Rush timing, and ranged staggers — are the skills being tested.
- Pro tip: Blue Bokoblins have significantly more health than Red Bokoblins, so prioritize using your strongest weapons on the Blues and save weaker weapons for the Red ambusher.
- Fusing a Rock to a weapon before entering adds substantial damage bonus that speeds up the Blue Bokoblin fights considerably.
