Maren's Tip
Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!
Walkthrough
- Step 1: Enter Igashuk Shrine in the Rimewise region.
- The theme is Orb on Incline — assembling a continuous downhill track from modular rail pieces so gravity can roll a metal orb into a target socket.
- A metal orb sits at the top of a starting ramp, and the target socket is below-left of the starting position, separated by a gap that the orb cannot cross without a properly constructed rail path.
- Step 2: Four modular rail pieces are scattered around the room, each a curved or straight metal track segment.
- These must be connected end-to-end to form a continuous downhill path from the orb's starting ramp to the socket's inlet.
- Examine each piece — they have male and female connection points at their ends that must align for the orb to roll smoothly between segments.
- Step 3: Rail 1 connects to the starting ramp but is rotated 30 degrees off-axis.
- Use Ultrahand to grab it and rotate it 30 degrees clockwise until its male end clicks into the ramp's female outlet.
- The rail should angle downward and to the left.
- Step 4: Rail 2 is placed backwards — its male end faces the wrong direction.
- Grab it with Ultrahand and flip it 180 degrees (rotate it end-over-end, not side-to-side).
- Attach its female end to Rail 1's male outlet.
- The track now curves further left and downward.
- Step 5: Rail 3 is already in the correct orientation — grab it and slide it into position connecting Rail 2's outlet.
- The track now runs in a gentle S-curve heading toward the socket area.
- Step 6: Rail 4 is the final piece connecting to the socket inlet, but it sits about 20 centimeters too high.
- Use Ultrahand to lower it precisely so its outlet end aligns with the socket's inlet hole.
- The connection must be flush — even a small misalignment causes the orb to derail and fall off the track at the junction.
- Step 7: Once all four rails form a continuous downhill path, nudge the metal orb off its starting pedestal with Ultrahand or a melee tap.
- Gravity takes over — the orb rolls down Rail 1, curves through Rails 2 and 3, drops through Rail 4, and seats into the socket with a satisfying metallic click.
- The altar gate opens.
- Step 8: Claim the Light of Blessing.
- A chest near the socket area contains an Opal (worth 60 rupees).
- Abilities needed: Ultrahand (rail manipulation, orb nudging).
- Pro tip: If the orb derails at a junction, the connection is misaligned.
- Pick up the orb with Ultrahand and set it back on the starting pedestal.
- Then fine-tune the problem junction — zoom in with Ultrahand and use micro-adjustments rather than large rotations.
