Maren's Tip

Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Proving Grounds: Gloom.
2. You are de-equipped.
3. The shrine provides a Gloom-resistant Tunic (equip immediately — it reduces gloom heart drain rate), a Light Emitter device, and a Pristine Royal Claymore.
4. Three Gloom Constructs and one Gloom Phantom Ganon occupy total darkness.
5. Activate the Light Emitter immediately and carry it — Gloom Constructs take 50% more damage when illuminated.
6. Use the Claymore's wide sweep to hit multiple Constructs per swing.
7. The Phantom Ganon appears after all Constructs fall — its gloom sword deals permanent heart reduction on hit; avoid all contact.
8. Three Pristine Claymore heavy attacks to its glowing core defeat it.
