Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Mayachideg Shrine is a Rauru's Blessing shrine in Central Hyrule, unlocked by completing "The Ancient Columns" crystal quest at the ruins southwest of Hyrule Field.
2. Travel to the triangular arrangement of three massive ancient stone columns visible from the main road.
3. The green crystal hovers approximately 15 meters above the ground at the exact center point between the three columns, suspended by some ancient Sheikah mechanism and just out of reach from ground level.
4. Step 2: Approach the tallest of the three columns (the northeastern one, approximately 20 meters high).
5. Climb its face — the stone surface has enough handholds for standard climbing, but bring stamina-restoring food if your stamina wheel is not fully upgraded.
6. At the top, survey the crystal's position below and between the columns.
7. Step 3: Paraglide off the column toward the hovering crystal.
8. As you glide near it, activate Ultrahand mid-flight to grab the crystal.
9. This requires precise timing — you must be within Ultrahand's range (about 8 meters) and moving slowly enough for the grab to register.
10. If you miss, land on one of the shorter columns and try again from a different angle.
11. Step 4: Once you have the crystal in Ultrahand's grip, glide down toward the ground while holding it.
12. The crystal is heavy and causes faster Paraglider descent, so aim for the base of the northern column where the glowing green receptacle ring sits on the ground.
13. Release the crystal directly onto the receptacle from a low hover.
14. Step 5: The shrine materializes beside the receptacle with a burst of green light.
15. Enter and walk directly to the altar for Rauru's Blessing — no puzzle or combat inside.
16. The aerial crystal retrieval was the trial.
17. Hidden chest: Inside the shrine, a chest to the right of the altar path contains an Opal (worth 60 rupees and used for upgrading the Zora Armor set at Great Fairy Fountains).
18. Ability needed: Ultrahand (to grab the crystal mid-air) and Paraglider (for gliding between columns and to the ground).
19. Climbing stamina is also important — at least 1.5 stamina wheels recommended.
20. Pro tip: If your stamina is too low to climb the tallest column, build a Zonai scaffold instead.
21. Stack two Zonai Platforms using Ultrahand near the column base, climb the platforms, and you start your Paraglide from a higher point without needing to climb the column at all.
