Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Joka Shrine is a Rauru's Blessing shrine in the Lanayru Wetlands, unlocked by completing "The Lost Hylian" crystal quest.
2. Travel to the area near Zora's Domain and speak with the distressed Hylian traveler standing on the riverbank northeast of the main waterfall.
3. He explains that a glowing green crystal fell into a submerged cavern during a flood and he cannot retrieve it.
4. Step 2: Follow the traveler's directions to the deep pool approximately 50 meters northeast of his position.
5. The pool entrance is marked by a ring of blue luminous stones — look for the telltale blue glow near the riverbank.
6. Before diving, eat a stamina-restoration meal or equip the Zora Armor set for faster swimming speed.
7. Step 3: Dive into the pool and swim downward approximately 6 meters.
8. The crystal sits on a rocky ledge inside the submerged cavern, glowing bright green and clearly visible in the dark water.
9. Use Ultrahand while underwater to grab the crystal from the ledge — you can manipulate objects even while submerged.
10. Step 4: Swim the crystal back to the surface.
11. The crystal is heavy and slows your swimming speed significantly.
12. If your stamina runs low, release the crystal temporarily (it floats slowly upward on its own), surface for air, then dive back down to grab it again.
13. Step 5: Once on the surface, carry the crystal back to the traveler's position and place it into the glowing green receptacle on the riverbank.
14. The shrine materializes with a burst of green light.
15. Step 6: Enter the shrine and walk directly to the altar for Rauru's Blessing — no puzzle or combat inside.
16. The underwater retrieval was the challenge.
17. Hidden chest: Inside the shrine, a chest near the altar contains a Zora Shield (excellent water durability and pairs with Zora armor for enhanced swimming defense).
18. Ability needed: Ultrahand for grabbing the crystal underwater.
19. Zora Armor or high stamina is strongly recommended for the dive.
20. Pro tip: If you have Sidon as a companion at this point, his water shield ability protects you from drowning damage and gives you extra time underwater — making the crystal retrieval nearly effortless.
