Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Step 1: Jochisiu Shrine is a Rauru's Blessing shrine in the Akkala region, unlocked by completing a crystal quest that begins near South Akkala Stable.
2. Travel to the stable and speak with the stable hand standing near the horse trough — he mentions seeing a glowing green crystal rolling into the river during a recent storm.
3. He points northeast, toward the upstream section of the river.
4. Step 2: Follow the river northeast from the stable.
5. The riverbanks are lined with tall grass and scattered boulders.
6. After about 100 meters upstream, the river passes through a rocky narrows where two large boulders create a natural choke point.
7. The crystal is lodged between these two rocks in a shallow pool, its green glow clearly visible through the clear water.
8. Step 3: Use Ultrahand to extract the crystal from between the rocks.
9. This requires precision — the crystal is wedged tightly, and yanking it sideways causes it to scrape against the rocks and slip out of Ultrahand's grip.
10. Instead, pull slowly and directly upward, lifting it vertically out of the wedge.
11. Once free, the crystal clears the water surface and can be carried normally.
12. Step 4: Carry the crystal south along the riverbank back toward South Akkala Stable.
13. The path is mostly flat with occasional mud patches that slow your movement.
14. The crystal is heavy enough that Link walks at reduced speed while carrying it — the trip takes about 2 minutes at carrying pace.
15. If you drop the crystal in the river, the current pushes it downstream slowly, and you will need to chase it and re-grab it with Ultrahand.
16. Step 5: The glowing green receptacle is near the stable's water trough on the stable's east side — a ring of green light on a stone pedestal.
17. Place the crystal into the receptacle.
18. The shrine materializes immediately beside the stable with a burst of green light.
19. Step 6: Enter the shrine and walk directly to the altar — no puzzle or combat awaits.
20. Claim your Light of Blessing.
21. Hidden chest: Inside the shrine, a chest to the right of the altar contains an Amber (worth 30 rupees).
22. Ability needed: Ultrahand is the only ability required — used for extracting and carrying the crystal.
23. No abilities used inside the shrine.
24. Pro tip: South Akkala Stable is an excellent base camp for Akkala exploration.
25. After completing this shrine, it becomes a fast-travel point adjacent to the stable — giving you instant access to the stable's cooking pot, bed, and horse storage.
26. Register your fastest horse here for convenient access to Akkala's spread-out points of interest.
