Maren's Tip

Remember — if a shrine gives Rauru's Blessing with no puzzle inside, the real challenge was reaching the entrance. Check the surrounding area!

Walkthrough

1. Proving Grounds: Intermediate.
2. Rocky terrain with ledges.
3. You are stripped of your gear.
4. The shrine provides a Spiked Ironshell Shield, a Royal Guard's Claymore, and eight arrows.
5. Three Construct Soldiers and two Construct Archers occupy the arena.
6. Use the rocky outcrops for cover from archer fire — never stand in the open.
7. Eliminate archers first with two bow shots each.
8. The three Soldiers patrol in a loose triangle — draw one away from the others around a rock formation and fight it solo.
9. The last two Soldiers are aggressive; use the Claymore's wide sweeping spin attack to hit both simultaneously.
10. The altar unlocks when all five fall.
